Carewell Industries

Carewell Industries is situated at 597 Narayan Peth, right in the heart of one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. We are quite close to Appa Balwant Chowk, which is always a hive of activity with bookshops and small vendors everywhere. Our building at 597 is an older structure, and we’ve adapted it over the years to fit our production needs. It’s a bit of a maze inside with different rooms for different stages of our manufacturing process. We aren't a big, impersonal factory; we are a small-scale operation where everyone knows each other. The work we do here is practical and straightforward. We focus on making sure our products are made well without any unnecessary complications. Because Narayan Peth has such narrow streets, getting supplies in and out can be a bit of a challenge, but we’ve been doing it for so long that we have a system down. The atmosphere in our workshop is usually busy but relaxed. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write glossy brochures for us. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a long time and people know the kind of work we do. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. We value the routine of opening up the shop every morning and seeing the same familiar faces in the neighborhood. It’s just a regular part of life here near the chowk, making things and getting through the day.
