We are set up at 7 B in the Kapila Society in Pune. Being inside a society gives our consultancy a bit of a different feel than a standard commercial building. It’s more relaxed, and you don’t feel like you’re in a cold office block. Career Vision Human Resources Consultancy handles a lot of the standard HR tasks that businesses need help with. We spend a good chunk of our day looking at files and trying to understand what different companies are actually looking for in their staff. The office has a lot of natural light, which is nice when you're staring at a screen for eight hours. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea, and there’s usually someone coming in or out with a stack of resumes. Our team is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing tax forms. We don't use a lot of jargon or big words. We just talk to people like they’re our neighbors, because in Pune, they often are. The 411016 area is a good spot for us, and we’ve been here long enough that the security guards at the gate know us by name. It’s a steady kind of life, working through the piles of paperwork and trying to help people find where they fit in the workforce. We don't have a big marketing department, we just do our jobs day in and day out.
