Career Crafts

Our office is situated at D 6 in the Tigri Extn area of New Delhi. It is a bit of a journey to get here if you are coming from the center of the city, but it is our home base. Career Crafts is a small setup, nothing like those big shiny offices you see in the main business districts. We have a couple of rooms that we have filled up with desks and metal cabinets. The floor is tiled and always feels a bit cold in the winter months. We spend most of our time here just working through whatever comes our way. The neighborhood is pretty busy, so there is always the sound of traffic or people talking outside. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and sometimes heat up our lunch in the afternoon. The Tigri Extn area is where we spend most of our waking hours. We don't have any fancy decorations or professional photos on the walls. It is mostly just calendars and notes pinned up with tape or magnets. Sometimes the neighbors come by to borrow a stapler or just to chat for a minute about the weather. We keep things very informal around here. There is no dress code or anything, just us doing our jobs. It is a simple life, focused on the work at hand. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just show up every morning and do our best with what we have.
