We started Caprice Exim Pvt. Ltd. a while ago and ended up setting shop at 11/b Cycle Society. It’s just a regular building, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Most days it’s just us sitting around the desks handling the import and export paperwork. We don’t have a big reception area or a fleet of cars waiting outside. Usually, the postman comes by around noon and that’s the busiest part of the morning. Living and working around here is okay, though the street gets a bit noisy when the local market picks up. People ask what we do, and I just tell them we move goods from one place to another. It’s a lot of phone calls and making sure the containers are where they should be. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait a bit to send emails, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. We’ve got a small kettle in the corner for tea because none of us can get through the afternoon without it. The office has some old filing cabinets that have seen better days, but they hold everything we need. We don’t really do fancy meetings or anything like that. If someone needs to talk to us about a shipment, they just call or drop by if they’re in the neighborhood. It’s a practical way to run things, and it works for us.
