Callista Unisex Salon

Callista Unisex Salon can be found at Shop No 4/5 in Green Valley on Kedari Road. We are in the Wanowrie area of Pune, not too far from the Kedari Petrol Pump. The shop is on the ground floor, so it’s easy for people to just wander in. We have a decent amount of space since we have two shop numbers joined together. The lighting is okay, though we have a couple of spots that stay a bit dark even during the day. We have a row of chairs and some big mirrors that reflect the street outside. Sometimes you can see the queue at the petrol pump from our front door. The neighborhood is fairly residential, so we see a lot of families and people who live in the nearby apartments. We keep a stack of newspapers near the entrance for anyone who has to wait. The air conditioner is a bit old and makes a rattling sound every now and then, but it keeps the place cool enough. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of standing. Most of our day is spent chatting with people about their kids or what they are cooking for dinner. It’s a normal, everyday kind of place for normal people. We just focus on our routine and make sure the place is ready for the next day.
