Bunty Gift House & Novelties

We've been running Bunty Gift House & Novelties for a good while now, right near the Maruti Mandir in Amarjyothi Layout. It's a busy spot especially on festival days when the temple gets crowded. People stop by after their prayers to look at things. We keep a lot of stuff, mostly small novelties and things kids like. The shop isn't huge but we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. Sometimes it’s a bit hard to find exactly what you want because things get moved around. My brother and I take turns sitting here. Nagar Road is always loud with traffic so we hear horns all day long. It's just a regular local shop where people come when they need a quick birthday present or some stickers. We don't have fancy lights or anything. Just the usual glass counters and fans. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. Most of our customers are from the houses nearby. They know us by name and we know what they usually look for. We don't really do big advertising or anything like that. People just see the sign when they pass by the mandir. It’s a simple life running a shop here. We open early most days and stay until the temple crowd thins out in the evening. It’s mostly about keeping the shelves stocked and chatting with the regulars who drop in. It keeps us busy.
