BUBA

BUBA is located right in the heart of Khadki Bazaar. If you know the area, you know how crowded and lively it can be with all the narrow lanes and old buildings. We have a small spot here, and it is pretty much a local shop for the people who live and work in the bazaar. There isn't a lot of room inside, so we have to be very careful about how we stack things. It’s one of those places where the owner is usually the one standing behind the counter talking to the regulars. We don't have a big website or a corporate headquarters. It is just this one location in the middle of a very old market. The atmosphere is always loud with people shouting, bells ringing, and the general sounds of a busy marketplace. Sometimes it feels like time hasn't changed much around here, even though the world outside is moving fast. We open the doors every morning and wait for the first customers to wander in. Some people have been coming to this bazaar for decades, and we see the same faces almost every day. It’s a very personal way to do business. We don't use complicated systems; we just write things down and keep track of what we have. It’s a bit messy and sometimes a bit slow, but it’s a real place with real people behind it. Anyway, that’s who we are.
