We opened Blue D Mens Salons on Tadiwala Road because it felt like a good spot right near the Bhaji Market. Most mornings, I start by opening the shutters and sweeping out the hair from the day before. It’s a simple shop, nothing too fancy, just the chairs, mirrors, and our tools. Being in Pune, specifically near the market area, means there is always noise outside—people shouting about vegetables or bikes honking. We get a mix of people coming in. Some are regular guys who have been living around here for years, and others are just passing through the market and need a quick trim. We don’t have any big corporate rules here. We just try to get the hair cut right and keep the place decent. On weekends, it gets a bit crowded, and people have to sit on the bench and wait their turn while watching whatever is on the small TV we have. We’ve been here a while now and know most of the faces that walk past our door. Tadiwala Road has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of that daily cycle. Sometimes we share a tea with the shopkeeper next door when things are slow. It’s just a regular life running a barber shop in a busy part of town. There isn't much more to it than that, just work and talking to the locals who come by.
