If you go toward Warje, you’ll find us in Indrayani Colony, over in Ingale Nagar. Our office is called Biojobz. We focus on finding people jobs in the science and bio fields. It’s a very specific kind of work, and we’ve been doing it from this corner of Pune for a good while. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s fairly peaceful until the highway traffic picks up. We aren't a big flashy firm with a lot of money to spend on fancy decorations. We have our computers, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of files. We spend our time talking to people who have spent years in labs or factories. It’s interesting to hear about what they do. We don't have a script when we talk to people; we just ask them what they’re looking for and see if we can help. Some days are really quiet and we just catch up on emails. Other days, the phones won't stop ringing. We like being in Warje because it’s easy for us to get to and it feels like a real community. We aren't trying to be the biggest recruitment company in India. We just want to be the ones who actually know what they’re talking about when it comes to science jobs. It’s a small operation, but we put in the hours and keep things moving. We’re just regular folks trying to make a living.
