Bhoite Clinic

Down in Janata Vasahat, right by Parvati Paytha, is where Bhoite Clinic sits. It’s a small place, tucked away in a part of Parvati that stays pretty active. The climb up toward the hill is right there, so we get a lot of people passing by on their way up or down. The clinic isn't very large, just a couple of rooms where we see whoever walks in. Usually, it's neighbors or people living right here in the Vasahat. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the faces. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are waiting, but everyone is used to it. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or anything like that. Usually, it's just one of us sitting at the desk handling the files. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to close up for a weekend to do it. We hear the bells from the temples and the sound of scooters all day long. It's a humble spot, nothing fancy at all. We spend our time listening to folks talk about their health or their families. It’s just a neighborhood clinic doing what it can for the people nearby. We don't have any high-tech gadgets, just the basics that have served us well for years now.
