Bhawani Varieties

We set up Bhawani Varieties inside Satya Sai Apartment, specifically at number two. Being near the Western Express Highway and Sinhagad Road means there is always noise from the trucks and cars outside. It’s a small space, really, but we manage to cram a lot into it. We sell all sorts of things, from plastic buckets to notebooks and pens. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. I started this because there wasn't much else close by for the people living in the apartments. Most days it’s just me here, sitting by the fan when it gets hot. The lighting isn't the brightest, but you can see what you’re looking for well enough. We don't do deliveries or anything fancy like that, people just walk in. Sometimes the kids from the building come in for some sweets after school. The shelves are a bit dusty sometimes because of the road construction nearby. I try to keep things organized, but it usually ends up looking a bit jumbled by the end of the week. It's just a regular shop for regular folks. We open up around nine and stay till the sun goes down and then some. It’s nothing special to look at from the outside, just a door with some stuff stacked near it.
