Bhavna Variety

Bhavna Variety is located at 84/1 Shivane. It's a modest shop on a street that stays pretty active throughout the day. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite a while now, and the walls have seen a lot of seasons come and go. People in Shivane usually drop by when they are out running errands. We carry a mix of things, which is why we call it a variety store. You might find some kitchen items in one corner and toys or school supplies in another. It’s not perfectly organized like those big mall stores, but we know where everything is kept. If someone asks for something specific, we can usually dig it out from the back or a high shelf. The morning starts with opening the shutters and giving the floor a quick wash. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our sales; everything is noted down manually. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for us and our customers. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, so we usually pull the shade down a bit to keep it cool. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors who stop by to pick up small items. It’s a quiet life in Shivane, and we are just happy to have our little spot on the road where people can get their daily essentials without much trouble or long walks.
