Bhavna Automobiles

Being up on the 4th floor here in Mayur Colony is a bit different for an auto business. Most people expect us to be right on the ground, but we’ve made this space work for Bhavna Automobiles. Katraj is always busy, so it’s actually a bit quieter up here away from the street noise. We spend our time looking over orders and talking to suppliers on the phone. The address is 1/1/17/70, which sounds complicated but once you find the building it’s fine. We have shelves full of parts and ledgers that we still keep by hand mostly. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we keep the essentials. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot, which keeps us moving. We’ve been in this part of Pune for a while now. The team is just a couple of guys who know their way around an engine. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some old calendars on the wall and a few chairs for when people need to wait. It’s mostly about getting the right parts to the right people without making a big fuss about it. We stay busy through the afternoon and usually lock up once the sun starts going down over Katraj. It’s just honest work, day in and day out, making sure the business keeps ticking over without any unnecessary complications or drama.
