Bharti Beauty Parlour

Bharti Beauty Parlour is located on Laxmi Road in Sadashiv Peth. If you know Pune, you know Laxmi Road is where everyone goes for shopping. We are right opposite the Commonwealth Building and near Saheli Creation. It’s a very crowded area. There is always the sound of horns and people shouting. Finding parking around here is almost impossible, but people still manage to come to us. Our parlour is in an old building that has seen better days. The stairs are narrow, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. But inside, we keep things as clean as we can. We have several stations set up because it gets quite busy, especially during the wedding season or festivals. We don't have any fancy posters or corporate branding. It’s just us doing hair and makeup for the ladies who are out shopping. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with so many people in a small space, but we are used to the rush. We take a break for lunch when there is a gap in the appointments. We don't use any complicated systems to track things. We just write everything down in a big notebook. It’s a traditional way of doing things, but it works for us. Being in the middle of Sadashiv Peth on Laxmi Road means there is never a dull moment.
