Bharat Brhamanti

Bharat Brhamanti is based in Pune, specifically at Sr No 33/7 in Kamgar Vikas Society, Warje. It’s a residential-feeling area but we operate from here. It’s a bit different from the big industrial zones where most businesses are. We have a small office that’s basically a converted room in the building. There’s a lot of paper everywhere because we deal with travel and moving around. Pune is a great city, but the traffic in Warje can be a bit much in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We don't have a big staff. It's just a few of us who know the routes and the schedules really well. We spend a lot of time on the phone. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to do everything the old-fashioned way with pens and paper. We don't have any awards on the wall or big mission statements. We just try to help people get where they need to go. Some days the phone doesn't stop ringing and other days it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside in the trees. We like the quiet days, but the busy ones are what pay the bills. It’s a small operation and we like it that way. We know most of our regular customers by their first names. We don't need a fancy lobby. A couple of chairs and a desk are enough for what we do. We just keep at it, day after day, making sure things happen.
