Bhagyshree Dry Fruits is located in Vishrantwadi. It's a busy spot here near the main road. Most days start with us opening the shutters early in the morning and setting up all the jars of almonds, cashews, and walnuts. We spend a lot of our time weighing things out on the small scales for customers. It’s not a fancy place at all, just a regular local shop where people come to get their snacks or ingredients for festive cooking. We get a lot of regulars who live right around the corner. They often stop by for a quick chat while they pick out some raisins or dried figs. The bags are stacked high in the back room and we really try to keep everything organized, but sometimes it gets a bit messy when we have a big delivery arrive. We just get on with the work. The ceiling fans run all day long to keep the place cool because it gets quite warm in the Vishrantwadi heat during the afternoon. People often ask us which nuts are the freshest, and we just show them what we have on the shelf at the time. There isn’t much more to it than that. We’ve been at this specific address for a good while now and we know the neighborhood sounds and people pretty well. If you walk past, you’ll see our display out front. We aren’t trying to do anything grand or special, just keeping the shop running day to day and making sure the jars stay full for whoever walks in next.
