Bhaatsaagritech Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Gavhali. Our office is at House Number 32, which is Prashant Nikam’s place. We are in the Kannad taluka of Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The pincode here is 431103. We are a group of farmers who live right here in the village. We didn't want to deal with middle men all the time, so we started this company to handle things ourselves. It's a lot of work keeping up with the rules and the records, but we manage somehow. We aren't professionals in suits or anything like that. Most days we are wearing our work clothes and covered in dust from the fields. We meet up at H No 32 to talk about what seeds to buy or when to sell our produce to get the best deal. It’s a very local thing. Everyone knows everyone else around Gavhali. If you need us, that's where we’ll be. We don't have any big promises to make to anyone. We just do the farming that needs to be done. Sometimes we help each other with the tractors or moving the harvest when someone is short-handed. It’s just the way things are done in this part of Aurangabad. We are proud of the land here even if it's hard work most of the time. Being part of a producer company just gives us a bit more strength when we go to the market together. It's a decent way to work.
