Shed No.31 is where we set up shop. It’s in the Gulvevasti area, right near Swami Samarth English Medium School. You can usually hear the kids playing during their break while we are inside working. Being in MIDC Bhosri means there are factories all around us, but we focus on health care items. It’s a bit of a different vibe compared to the heavy metal shops next door. We keep the place as clean as we can, though it’s an industrial shed after all. We deal with supplies that doctors and clinics need. It’s just a few of us here. We started small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage things ourselves. Sometimes the rain makes the road near the school a bit muddy, but we still get the deliveries out. We don’t have any big sales pitches. People usually find us because someone else told them we were here. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure everything is packed right. It’s not glamorous work, but it feels important since it’s for health care. We know our regulars by name. When the day ends, we lock up the shed and head home just like everyone else in the MIDC. It’s a straightforward life. We do our jobs, help out the locals, and try to make sure the supplies are ready when someone calls. There is always a lot to do.
