B.G. Shinde & Co.

B.G. Shinde & Co. is located at 740 Shukrawar Peth. We are right near Nehru Chowk, which is a landmark most people in the area know very well. It is a traditional part of town and we have been part of the landscape here for a long time. The building is old but it has a lot of character. We do not really bother with modernizing the look too much because the current setup works for us. Inside, it is a lot of paperwork and people talking on phones. We deal with the day-to-day business in a very hands-on way. There is not a lot of automation here; it is mostly just us doing the work manually. We like the feel of Shukrawar Peth. It has a long history that you can sense when you walk the streets nearby. Being near the Chowk means there is always something happening right outside our front door. We just keep our heads down and focus on what needs to be done. It is a very simple business model. We provide what people need and we do it from this one location. We do not have branches all over the place. This is it. We know our customers and they know where to find us. It is a very local way of doing things, and we would not have it any other way. It is just how we operate.
