B.G. Auto Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is out here in Gat No. 825 in Sanaswadi village. If you’ve ever been to Shirur, you know how it gets during the rainy season. Our place is basically where the work gets done, away from the big city noise of Pune. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The shop floor is usually a bit messy because there’s always some project going on or a machine that needs looking at. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just us, our tools, and the sounds of the village nearby. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and wait for it to come back so we can finish the day's tasks. The guys here have been working together for years. We know each other's families and what’s happening in the taluka. We don't really do much in the way of big meetings. We just get the drawings, look at what needs doing, and get to it. The road leading up to Gat No. 825 isn't always the smoothest, especially after the trucks have been through, but it’s home for us. We just handle the engineering stuff that comes our way and try to get things sorted before the sun goes down. It’s quiet work mostly, just doing what we know how to do in this part of Sanaswadi.
