Beluga Agro Holdings Private Limited

Up on the sixth floor of Building C in Madhuvanti, that’s where we run Beluga Agro Holdings Private Limited. It’s right on Singhgad Road in the Khadkwasla area of Pune. Living and working here gives us a great view of the surroundings, but we spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets and talking to suppliers on the phone. We aren’t a farm with tractors in the yard; we handle the holding and management side of the agro business. It’s a bit different from being in the fields every day, but it’s just as important for getting things moving. The traffic on Singhgad Road can be a bit much sometimes, but we’re used to the hustle of Pune by now. We started this because we saw a gap in how things were being managed for the local farmers. It’s just a small office, nothing too grand or impressive. We don’t have corporate slogans or fancy mission statements taped to the walls. We just try to stay organized and keep our partners happy with the work we do. Sometimes we’re here late into the evening when things get busy during harvest season. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the numbers add up. We’re local people who grew up around here, so we know the area pretty well. It’s a practical setup, meant for getting work done rather than showing off. We like the balance of being close to the city but still connected to the roots.
