Beauty Time

Beauty Time is located at 61, Shitala Devi Chowk in Guruwar Peth. If you know Pune, you know Guruwar Peth is one of those old-school areas where the roads are narrow and full of life. We are right by the Shitala Devi Chowk, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. The shop is small and simple, just like the other businesses on this street. In the mornings, you can hear the bells from the temple nearby and the sound of people starting their day. We open up and sweep the front every morning before things get busy. The building is older, but it stays relatively cool inside even when the Pune sun is hitting the pavement outside. We don't have a lot of big signs, just the name Beauty Time. Most people find us because they live nearby or they are passing through the chowk. It’s a practical place where we do our work without much fuss. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy quite well. Sometimes it gets loud with the traffic at the chowk, but that is just how life is in this part of the city. We have a few chairs and mirrors, and that is about it. It’s a honest, local spot for the people living in Guruwar Peth.
