Beauty Parlour The

Our shop is in the Krishna Building, Plot No 1. It is right on the border between Navi Peth and Sadashiv Peth. If you are coming from Mhatre Bridge, we are very close to that. It is a decent-sized space for what we do. We have the usual setup for a ladies parlour—some chairs for hair, a separate area for more private things like waxing. The building is older, but it is sturdy. We see a lot of students and office workers because of where we are located. Pune gets quite busy around the bridge area, so there is always the sound of horns and traffic in the background. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. We just have our name on the door and people come in. Most of the time it is busy, especially during the wedding season or festivals. We just keep our heads down and work. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we are always cleaning up. We use the same brands we have used for years because we know they work. It’s an honest little business. Nothing is polished or perfect, but we do the job right. People like that it’s a local place where they don't have to dress up just to get a haircut. It feels like home to some of our regulars.
