Bavanthadi Farmer Producer Company Limited is right near the Idea Tower in Tumsar. If you know that tower, you can find us at House No 919 on Plot No 5. It’s a handy landmark because the phone signal is usually decent right there. Bhandara is where we are located in Maharashtra. The weather here can be quite something, especially in the rainy season when everything gets green but the roads get messy. Inside the house, we’ve got a couple of rooms set up for the company work. We work with local farmers mostly. There are always bags of samples or papers scattered on the wooden table in the middle. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about the harvest. Sometimes the neighbor's dog won't stop barking while we’re trying to count things. It’s not a polished office. We have some plastic chairs for when the farmers come in to discuss their crops. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Tumsar is a small enough town that we see the same faces every day. We don't have a receptionist; you just walk in and yell hello. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time checking the weather reports and worrying about the rain. It’s just how it goes when you’re in this line of work. We get by just fine and keep things moving.
