Balasaheb Shripati Bawane is based right here in Dhanakawadi. If you live in this part of Pune, you know it is a place where everyone kind of knows each other. This isn't some big corporate setup with a thousand employees. It is more about the daily routine of being a local presence. Our space in Dhanakawadi is where we handle all our business, mostly sitting at the same old wooden desks we have had for years. There is always a calendar on the wall and a small clock that ticks a bit too loudly when it is quiet. We spend a lot of our time talking to people who walk in with questions or just need something looked at. It is a bit disorganized at times, with papers stacked here and there, but we know exactly where everything is when we need it. The morning starts with a bit of cleaning and then we settle in for the day. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Usually, word just gets around the neighborhood. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for the noise of the traffic from the main road nearby. We like being part of the local scene and having a place where people can just drop by without needing an appointment or anything formal. It is just how things have always been done here. We sometimes sit outside when the weather is nice just to watch the people go by on their way to the market or the bus stop.
