You can find Balaji Gift Shopee & Genral Store at Shop No 1 in the Adinath Apartment. We are right near Bramha Gardan in the Manik Baug area of Sinhagad Road. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we see the same families every single day. We sell all the basic stuff like milk, bread, and soap, but we also have a good collection of gifts. That’s why we have both in the name. It’s a small shop, so we have to use every inch of the walls to hang things. You might see birthday banners hanging next to bags of flour. It looks a bit messy to some, but we know exactly where everything is. The area around Sector 22 C has grown so much lately. There are more cars and more people than when we first opened. We stay open from early morning until quite late at night. Sometimes people knock on the shutter after we’ve closed because they forgot something important, and we usually open up for them. It’s part of being in a community. We don't have any big advertisements. People just know us because we’ve been here at Adinath Apartment for years. My brother and I run the place, and we take turns so the shop is never empty. We don't use fancy computers for billing, just a simple machine and our notebooks.
