Bade Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is our little operation. We are located care of Babasaheb Sarjerao Bade at 3095 A/P Shirur. It’s basically a local group of farmers who decided to get organized. Shirur is a good place to be for agro business. Our office is at the house, number 3095. It’s not a corporate office by any means. It’s just where Babasaheb and the rest of us meet to talk about seeds, equipment, and how to sell the harvest. We have a lot of papers scattered around, and the phone rings more than we’d like. But it’s honest work. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Most of what we do is just talking to our neighbors and the other farmers in Shirur. Being a producer company means we have to look out for each other. Sometimes it’s a headache with the regulations and the filing, but we manage. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to make sure the farmers in our group get a fair deal. The atmosphere at 3095 is pretty relaxed. You might see some tractors nearby or people hauling bags of grain. That’s just life in Shirur. We are just regular people trying to make a living from the land. If you need to find us, just look for the Bade family place. We are usually there working on something related to the farm. It’s busy, but it’s a good kind of busy. That’s really all there is to it.
