Backwoods Farms Llp

We are tucked away in the Morya Business Center over in the MIDC area of Pune. Our specific spot is Shop No. 102 on Plot No. Gp 115 in G Block. Even though the address sounds like a regular office building, our hearts are really out in the backwoods where the actual farming happens. That’s where the name comes from. Managing a dairy business in a busy city like Pune is a bit of a balancing act. We have to deal with the industrial side of things at MIDC but also keep the farm side running smoothly. It is a lot of driving back and forth. Some days the traffic is so bad it takes hours just to get the supplies moved. We aren't a big fancy company with a lot of investors. Backwoods Farms is just a small group of us trying to do things the right way. We don't have a polished pitch or any corporate slogans. Most of our time is spent worrying about the cows' health or the quality of the fodder we are getting. It’s a hands-on job that leaves you pretty tired by the end of the week. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It isn't glamorous, but it is what we know how to do.
