Bachatgat Wahini

You can find us over at the Saudamini Complex on Paud Road in Kothrud. We are in Building A2, unit 5. It is a busy part of the city, and the traffic on Paud Road can be quite a nightmare during office hours, but we have a nice little setup here. Bachatgat Wahini is mostly about people coming together to manage their small savings and help each other out with little loans or group projects. It is very grassroots, nothing corporate about it at all. Most of the time, the office is full of people talking and trying to figure out their accounts. We use simple ledgers and spend a lot of time double-checking the numbers so nobody gets confused. Kothrud has grown so much lately, but this little corner of Frazer Town feels familiar. We have some plastic chairs for visitors and a big desk where most of the paperwork happens. It’s not the quietest office because there is always someone coming in to ask a question or drop off a payment. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside, just a small board so people know they’re in the right place. Working here feels useful because you see how a little bit of money saved every month can actually help a family later on. It’s practical work and we just take it one day at a time.
