We are located at 615 G 1 in the Camp area of Narayan Peth, right near Chitrashala Chowk. This is an old part of the city and our shop definitely reflects that history. We’ve been here for many years, and the building itself has a lot of character, though the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time. We mostly deal with trade and general business that has been the main staple of this family for a long time. It’s a bit crowded inside the shop with all the stock piled up and the old wooden furniture we use. We don't have computers sitting on every surface; we still use a lot of paper ledgers and notebooks because that’s how we were taught to do things. The traffic at the chowk is always noisy and hectic, but we don't mind it much anymore after being here so long. We know most of the people who walk by our door every day. It’s the kind of place where people stop just to say hello or share some news even if they aren't looking to buy anything. We don't do any big promotions or seasonal sales. We just sell what we have at a fair price and try to treat people decently. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or helping customers find exactly what they need in the tall stacks of goods. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We open up early and close when the sun goes down.
