Babu Mens Parlour

If you walk down Shahu College Road in the Parvati area, you’ll find Babu Mens Parlour. We are positioned pretty close to the Dattawadi Police Chowcky, which makes it a very safe and easy place to find. Because we are on the road that leads to the college, we see a lot of students coming in to get their hair styled before exams or events. But we also have older regulars who have lived in Parvati for decades. The shop is a bit cramped when more than three people are waiting, but nobody seems to mind much. We have a couple of chairs and all the basic tools we need. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a receptionist or anything; you just walk in and wait for a chair to open up. The sounds of the traffic and the occasional police siren from the chowcky are just part of the background noise here. We spend our days cutting hair, trimming mustaches, and keeping the place as tidy as we can. It’s a lot of standing on our feet, but we like talking to the people who come in. Everyone has a story, from the young students to the retired guys who live nearby. We just keep our prices fair and our scissors sharp. It’s a steady life here on Shahu College Road, and we wouldn't have it any other way. It is just a normal neighborhood shop for regular people.
