Baba Transport Service

Our office is in Rasta Peth, specifically the 4th Block of Geetha Colony at number 499. Rasta Peth is known for transport and logistics, so we are right in the middle of it. Baba Transport Service has been operating from this small room for a long time. The walls are covered with old calendars and maps. There is always a phone ringing or someone coming in to talk about a delivery. We have a couple of old wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days. Outside, the lanes of Geetha Colony are narrow, so parking the big trucks can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure the paperwork is sorted out. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes things get delayed, which means more phone calls. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just work with the people we know. The air in the office is usually a bit stuffy, so we keep the door open to the street. You can hear the neighbors and the local tea stall guy shouting. It is a very lived-in space. We eat our lunch at the desk while checking the logs. It is not a corporate setup at all. We just handle the transport needs of the people who come to Rasta Peth. It is a steady rhythm of work that keeps us busy from morning till night.
