Baba Computers

Baba Computers has been on Sinhagad Road for a good while now. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always something going on outside the door. Inside, it is a different story. It is mostly just piles of CPUs, monitors waiting for repair, and the smell of solder. I handle most of the walk-ins myself. People come in with all sorts of issues, like spilled coffee on their keyboards or a virus they picked up from a weird website. I try to be honest about whether something is worth fixing or if it is just time to get a new one. I am not trying to sell anyone things they do not need. My workbench is usually covered in tiny screws that I have to keep track of. Sometimes I lose one and it takes ten minutes to find it on the floor. That is just how it goes. The shop isn't very large, so if a few customers arrive at the same time, it feels a bit tight. We do a lot of printing and scanning too, especially for the students who live around here. They are always in a hurry. I try to keep the machines running, but even my own gear acts up sometimes. It is a simple operation. We open, we fix things, and we close. No big corporate rules or anything like that, just a guy fixing computers on a busy road. Most people find us by word of mouth from their neighbors.
