Baba Computers

Baba Computers is tucked away on M G Road in Mohamadwadi, specifically at 149/A. It is not a big fancy showroom. Mostly, it is just me and a couple of guys handling whatever walks through the door. People bring in laptops with broken hinges or desktops that won't turn on because of the dust inside. We spend a lot of time cleaning out fans and trying to figure out why a Windows update failed again. The shop gets a bit crowded when three or four people come in at once since there is not much space between the workbenches and the front counter. I have been in this spot for a while now. Some days are just about selling a mouse or a keyboard to someone who lives nearby. Other days, we are stuck behind the desk until late trying to recover files from a dead hard drive. It is a lot of sitting and squinting at small screws. The street outside can get pretty loud during the day, but inside it is usually just the sound of cooling fans and the radio. We keep things pretty simple here. There is no fancy waiting area, just a plastic chair if you need to sit for a minute while we check your power cable. It is just a regular neighborhood computer place where we try to get things working so people can get back to their jobs or school. We do not have a big sign, but most people in Mohamadwadi know where 149/A is.
