Our place is right at Samrala Chowk, specifically in the Rihe area. If you know the chowk, you know it gets quite loud with all the trucks and cars passing through at all hours. We’ve been here for a bit, doing both architecture and interior work. It is a bit of a mix. One day we are worrying about the foundation of a house, and the next we are picking out laminates for a kitchen wardrobe. We have samples scattered all over the office—tiles, fabric swatches, and bits of wood. It can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. The team is small, and we mostly just get on with things. We spend a lot of time talking to local suppliers to see what is in stock. Prices keep going up, so that's always a conversation we have to have with clients. It's not always easy telling someone their dream house might need to be a bit smaller because of the cost. We try to be honest about those things from the start. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. Most people just find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. We like it that way. It feels more like a local service than a big business. We’re usually here from morning until late evening, just trying to get the drawings finished. (248 words)
