Awesome Hair & Beauty Salon is Shop No.2 in the Sai Complex on BMCC College Road. This is a very active part of Shivaji Nagar in Pune. We are situated right across from Hotel Rupali, which is a famous landmark on FC Road. Because of the college nearby, there are always a lot of students walking past our door. The Sai Complex is a busy building with several other small businesses, so there is a lot of coming and going all day long. The salon itself is not very big, but we have managed to fit in the stations we need. It’s a lively atmosphere because of the location. We hear the traffic from FC Road and the chatter of the students outside. Inside, it’s a bit more relaxed, though we don't have any fancy soundproofing. The decor is just simple tiles and mirrors. We have a few products sitting on the shelves, mostly things we use every day. Shivaji Nagar is a central hub, so we see all kinds of people, from students to office workers. We don't do a lot of advertising; most people just see the sign while they are heading to the hotel or the college and pop in. It’s a practical workspace where we focus on our daily tasks. The Pune heat can be tough, but the shop stays okay with the fans running. We enjoy the buzz of the Shivaji Nagar area and being right in the middle of everything.
