Avishkar Printers

Avishkar Printers is a small printing spot tucked away at Shop No 43 in the Gurudatta Sahavas building. We are right in the middle of Shaniwar Peth, not far from Karve Road, so it is always crowded outside. Inside the shop, it’s mostly the smell of ink and the rhythmic sound of the printers going. We handle all sorts of small jobs, like printing wedding cards, school pamphlets, or just basic office stationery. It’s a small space and we have paper stocks piled up everywhere you look. We aren't a big commercial press, just a local family-run business that’s been here for years. Sometimes the machines act up or the ink doesn't dry as fast as we’d like, but we manage to get through it. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about fonts and colors, trying to get things just right for them. It’s a lot of sitting at the computer and then standing by the cutter. We don't have a fancy storefront, just a simple counter and our equipment in the back. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started, but we’re still here doing the same thing every day. It’s honest work and we like being part of the local community in Shaniwar Peth. We try to be fair with our prices and honest about when a job will be ready for pickup.
