We are based at Ghorpadi 47, running Avish Aviation Equipment Pvt Ltd. It might sound like a big fancy operation because of the name, but we are actually just a group of people working in a fairly plain building. We deal with parts and equipment for the aviation side of things. It’s technical work that requires a lot of attention to detail and patience. Our office and storage area are pretty functional and simple. We have shelves full of various components and a few desks for handling the paperwork. Ghorpadi is an okay place to work, and it has its own character. We don't spend money on expensive furniture or art for the walls. We’d rather spend it on the tools and the inventory we need to have on hand. When someone calls asking for a specific part, we go look for it on the shelf ourselves. It’s as simple as that. We don't have a team of sales people in suits. Usually, you’ll talk to someone who has grease on their hands or who just finished counting stock in the back. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially when a big delivery comes in and boxes are everywhere, but we manage. We aren't looking to change the world or do anything heroic, just trying to provide the right equipment to the people who need it. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough from morning until the evening most days.
