Avinash Hair Dresser

Avinash Hair Dresser is located right on the Bibwewadi India Colony Road. It is a small place, just a single room really, with a couple of chairs that have been there for as long as I can remember. The street outside is always busy with people going to work or heading to the market, so we see a lot of life passing by the door. We have a small radio that we keep on for some background noise, usually playing some old songs or the local news. There are shelves filled with different kinds of shampoos and powders, and the smell of the shop is a mix of talcum and hair oil. We do not have a fancy sign, just a simple one that lets people know we are here. Most of our customers are men from the India Colony area who have been coming to us for years. We know most of them by name and we usually know exactly how they want their hair cut before they even sit down. The chairs are a bit creaky, and the floor is made of old stone that has worn smooth over time. We start our work early and stay open until the sun goes down. It is not a place for anything complicated, just a basic haircut and maybe a bit of a chat about how things are going in the neighborhood.
