Avani Architectural Design Pvt. Ltd.

Avani Architectural Design Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Balaginvagar in the Dhankawadi area of Pune. It’s a local operation, mostly focused on getting things built right. We have a small office where we handle the design side of things, but you’ll often find us out at the construction sites instead of sitting behind a desk. We’ve been in the Dhankawadi neighborhood for quite a bit and we like the vibe here. It’s a lot of practical, everyday work. We aren't trying to win awards or get into magazines; we just want to make sure the buildings we design are solid and serve their purpose. Sometimes the rain in Pune messes up our schedules, or we have to wait weeks for certain permits to clear, but that’s just how the business goes. We talk to a lot of different people, from masonry workers to homeowners, and we try to keep the language simple so everyone understands what’s going on. It’s not always pretty—sometimes the office is a mess of rolls of paper and half-drunk cups of tea—but we get the drawings done. We’ve helped a few families around here with their houses and some local businesses with their shops. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. No big corporate fluff, just us and our drafting tools. We’re just trying to make sure the walls stay up and the clients are satisfied with what we’ve put on paper.
