Our office is tucked away in the Sukwani Classiq building, specifically in B 8, over in the Morwadi area of Pimpri. If you know Pune 411018, you know it’s a busy industrial and residential mix. We’ve been set up here for a good bit of time. The building is one of those standard complexes where you see a lot of different small businesses all packed in together. Our space at Atlantis Labs is pretty simple. We have the usual desks, some old computers, and a lot of cabinets for all the records we have to keep. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction work always happening nearby in Maharashtra, but we try to keep it tidy. The walk from the main gate to the B wing is short, though the parking lot is usually full by nine in the morning. We don’t have any big slogans on the walls or anything. It’s mostly just calendars and a few photos. The team here is small, maybe just a handful of us who have been working together for years. We know the security guards by name and they know us. It’s the kind of place where things are done the old-fashioned way. We spend most of our day answering phones and sorting out lab details. It’s not glamorous, but it’s our daily bread. Sometimes the water cooler leaks a bit, but we just put a towel under it and keep going.
