Our company, Asolekar Farmer Producer Company Limited, operates out of Maroti Gyanbarao Suryawanshi’s house in Asola. We are located in the Kalamnuri area of Hingoli district, pin code 431702. We are basically a group of neighbors and friends who decided to start a producer company to help with our farming activities. Most of us have been in Asola our whole lives. We know every acre of this land and what it’s capable of. The company isn't run from some high-rise building; it’s run from a local home where we can sit on the porch and talk. We handle things like seed distribution, getting fertilizers, and figuring out how to sell what we grow. It’s not always smooth sailing. There are days when the paperwork feels like too much, or the rain stays away for too long. But we stick together because that’s what people do in Kalamnuri. We don't use big words or make grand promises. We just try to get the work done however we can. If someone needs help with their harvest, we try to coordinate. If prices are low, we look for better options. It’s a simple, local operation meant to help the people right here in our village. We don't have a marketing budget because everyone around here already knows who we are and where to find us.
