Asmita Enterprises

Asmita Enterprises is located in Bhosari at W/244 and we have been operating out of this unit for quite some time now. It is mostly a storage and supply place so we have racks of metal shelving that go all the way to the ceiling. We keep a lot of industrial components and hardware items in stock here. The floor is grey concrete and it has some cracks in it from moving heavy pallets around over the years. We use a lot of packing tape and cardboard boxes so that sound is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. It is a very straightforward business where we check the inventory against our ledger and make sure the orders are ready for the local shops. Bhosari is a rough and tumble industrial area so the environment is very practical and no-nonsense. We have a small cabin in the front with a glass window where we do all the paperwork and take phone calls. It gets a bit cold in the winter mornings before the sun warms up the metal walls. We have a small stove for making tea and that is about as fancy as it gets here. Most of our day is spent counting items or loading them into the back of small delivery vans. It is the kind of work that keeps you moving and we like the rhythm of it.
