Asian Paints

You can find us, Asian Paints, right on the Solapur Highway in Loni Kalbhor. It is a very busy spot because of all the traffic moving between cities. The noise of the trucks and cars passing by is something we have just gotten used to over the years. Our place is easy to see from the road, which is good because people driving by often stop when they realize they need something for their house projects. We have stacks of paint buckets and cans all over the place. Sometimes the dust from the highway comes inside, so we spend a lot of time just wiping things down to keep them clean. The area of Loni Kalbhor has changed quite a bit since we first started here, with more buildings going up every year. We aren't a big corporate office; we are just a local outlet where you can pick up colors. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so it gets quite warm inside. We usually have a few people working here who know the different types of paint we have on the shelves. We don’t do anything fancy with the display. It’s mostly just rows of cans waiting to be picked up. People from the nearby villages and the outskirts of the city come here quite often. It’s a straightforward business and we just try to keep the most common items in stock for whoever stops by. It gets a bit hectic when the big shipments arrive.
