Asian Hardware

Asian Hardware is on the ground floor of Parva Kalyan, Shop Number 3. We are right across from Royal High School. It is a handy spot because parents often stop by after dropping their kids off. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling. We have pipes, tools, boxes of screws, and cans of paint stacked everywhere. It is a bit of a maze, and honestly, if you asked me where the 10mm bolts are, I might have to hunt for a minute. But we usually have what people need for their home repairs. It is dusty work. I spend a lot of time wiping down counters, but the dust from the road always finds its way back in. We get a lot of plumbers and electricians stopping by early in the morning before they go to their jobs. They know they can just grab what they need and go. We do not have a computer system for the stock; I just keep it all in my head and a small notebook. Sometimes the bell on the door rings non-stop, and other times it is just me sitting here watching the traffic go by. The school across the street makes it noisy during break times, but you get used to it. It is a basic hardware store for the neighborhood. No frills, just the stuff you need to fix a leaking tap or hang a picture frame. We have been in this spot for years now.
