Art Of Degain

Art Of Degain is tucked away at 105/106 Shanti Niketan. We are right near Anjali School, so there's always a bit of noise from the kids during the day. This place is where we do all our creative work. It’s not a corporate office, just a workspace where we try to get things right. Sometimes the floor is covered in scraps and drawings because we are in the middle of a project. We don't always have everything perfectly neat, but we know where every tool is. People come to us when they want something designed or made, and we just sit down and talk it through. It's a small team, mostly just a few of us who like making things. We get a lot of neighbors dropping by just to see what we are working on. The light in this part of the building is good in the afternoon, which helps when we are doing detailed bits. We started here a few years back and just kept going. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend. It’s a quiet life except for the school bells. We just focus on the work at hand and try to make sure every piece that leaves the shop is okay. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. The name on the door is Art Of Degain, and we are usually here from morning until the sun goes down. We enjoy the local atmosphere here at Shanti Niketan.
