Ashwinilende Farmer Producer Company Limited. H. No. 18 Hirapur, Paithan. Our group consists of farmers here in Hirapur. It's a small place near Paithan. Most of us grew up on these lands. Farming is hard work, especially when the rains don't come on time or the market prices drop out of nowhere. Because of this, we decided to get together as a company. It’s much easier to handle things as a group than just by yourself. My house at number 18 is where we keep the records and meet up. It's not a fancy office. A room with some chairs and a table is where we talk about what seeds to buy or how to get the crops to the market in Aurangabad without losing too much money on transport. Sometimes the internet is slow here, so doing the official stuff takes all day. Agriculture in Maharashtra comes with daily struggles. Helping each other out with equipment or getting a better price for the cotton and grain is the main goal. This isn't some big corporation. A steady life from the soil is all we want for our families. The soil here is good if you treat it right. A lot of time is spent discussing fertilizers and how to keep the pests away. Local folks like us just want to make the farm work pay off. It is tiring but we are used to the sun. Every day brings a new challenge.
