Ashwini Engineering Works

Ashwini Engineering Works is located over in the Industrial Town area, specifically at number 14 on the 4th Cross of the 4th Stage. If you know West of Chord Road, you know it can be quite a maze with all the different stages and mains. We have been here for a good bit of time now. The workshop is usually noisy with the sound of machines running. We do a lot of metal work and fixing parts that people bring in. It's the kind of place where your hands get dirty within five minutes of walking in. There are plenty of tools lying around and grease on the floor. That is just how a real engineering shop looks. We don't spend much time cleaning up for visitors because there is always another job waiting. Most of our days are spent at the lathe or welding something back together. It takes a lot of patience to get the measurements right, and we do our best with what we have. Some of the machines are old but they still run fine if you treat them right. We are just local guys who know how to work with metal. People come to us when they have a problem they cannot fix themselves. It is practical work. We stay busy with the local demand around this part of town. It isn't glamorous, but it is honest work that keeps the lights on for everyone here and helps the neighborhood stay running.
