Ashok Woollen Embroidery

Ashok Woollen Embroidery is located right in the middle of a very busy spot. We are at MHB Colony, Sardar Nagar No 1, in Pratiksha Nagar, Sion East. The address is 1155. It is a small space, but we have a lot packed into it. There are bags of wool everywhere and the sound of machines going most of the day. Budhwar Peth is where we get a lot of our supplies sometimes. Being in Sion East means there is never a quiet moment. People are always passing by the door. We have been doing this for a long time, working with our hands and making sure the patterns look right. It is not an easy job, your eyes get tired after a few hours of looking at the fine threads. But we like the work. My fingers are often stained with different colors from the dyes. The colony is crowded, and parking is a nightmare, so most people just walk here. We have some old wooden shelves that hold all our finished pieces. They are a bit wobbly, but they hold up. The air is always filled with the smell of fabric and tea. We don't have any big advertisements. People find out about us from their friends or family. It is just a small local business trying to do things the old-fashioned way. We just keep sewing and hope the electricity stays on.
