Ashok Gift Verities

I’ve been running Ashok Gift Verities for some time now here in Kharadi. The shop is tucked into Shop No 19 at Sai Apartment, right by Sangharsh Chowk on Mission Road. If you know Srinivasa Colony, we’re basically right there. It’s a small space but we try to keep it packed with all sorts of things people might need for a birthday or just a small gesture. The shelves are mostly full of different knick-knacks and toys. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but I try to keep things clean every morning before the sun gets too high. People from the nearby apartments stop by quite often, usually looking for a quick card or a small toy for their kids. I don’t really have a big staff, it’s mostly just me or a helper handles things when I step out for tea. The morning starts early around nine, and I usually stay open until the evening rush at the chowk settles down. It’s a busy spot with all the traffic coming through Mission Road. I’ve lived around here for years, so I know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where you can find something decent without having to go all the way to a big mall. I spend a lot of time rearranging the items so they fit on the shelves better. It is just a normal daily business for us.
